Li Ej Hu by Dhrupad Shukla: Time and Space may have separated them, but a shared bond remains in their thought. “Li Ej Hu” is a film that observes two people, a Man and a Woman, who relish their past through mangoes, letters and the unfettered liberty of nostalgia. The man, now quite old, writs letters everyday and is immersed in thought during this ritual. This thought takes him on a journey to meet his past. In this journey, boundaries between his past and present blur, and then cease to exist altogether. The two drift closer and further, inhabiting the same space at the same time, but only in thought. 2. TimesUp by Mohit Chandani & Harshil Bhatt: While walking out on a break from the office, 4 office colleagues are talking about office politics, affairs, and exploitation. While exiting the office, news on the ongoing #MeToo movement sparks a debate between two colleagues, Ankit and Adhwet; regarding the credibility of the movement and whether this movement is just a fad or a mouthpiece of media. 3. Laali by Dhrunad: Laali gets her first period and she’s clueless about it yet. Her mother explains how this has been a curse for women and how it reshapes their lives. Laali’s father goes to the village chief Baapu for guidance.Baapu suggests him to stop her schooling and make her learn household work and get married soon. Laali gets to meet Deeksha, Baapu’s daughter who came to visit from the city. Deeksha gets to know about Laali’s situation and she takes a step against the village and her own father to fight against this myth.
