Spanish Music Concert – Alliance Francaise d’Ahmedabad

Of all the musical cultures around the world, none have been as versatile as the Spanish music. It is made for and celebrated by the masses in salons, in street festivals, in theatres and movies. It has eased its way into the Classical Music, Jazz, Pop, and even Indian Classical Music- the reason being its simplicity and charm, which is a perfect spot between ‘Art’ and ‘Accessibility’.

This concert explores this exciting world – full of love and dreams, of stars and lullabies, of song and dance – a celebration of life through the historic music of Iberia.

About the artists

Aditya Gandhi is a Concert Guitarist trained in Bangalore, Scotland and United States. Since moving to India in 2016, he has numerous solo concerts, across India and Sri Lanka, to his credit. He is accompanied by Ankna Arockiam, a Mezzo Soprano from Hyderabad, trained at KM Music Conservatory (Chennai) and a fellow Graduate of Royal Conservatoire of Scotland along with Aditya. She is currently based in Scotland and is a part of numerous prestigious choirs and bands in Glasgow, pursuing her passion for both Indian and Western Classical Music.
