He is coming to meet us today – to play with us and tell us about the world we have forgotten. A world where some children go to school, but for the others, school is far away. Because they need to work with children that are lost, children that are locked that within walls, children that haven’t arrived in the world yet, and children who couldn’t live their childhood…the voice of these children …a language which ,if understood will transform everything. It’s a participatory play and the language of play is in Gibberish – a theatrical language performed by Walter Peter an Ex-TIE Co. Member of N.S.D. About The Artists A participatory solo play by Walter Peter. Born in Kasturba Nagar, New Delhi – Based in Ahmedabad Gujarat, has been working extensively with and for children, teachers, youth and staff since 1993, as a facilitator, actor, writer, director and designer with his key tool being theatre in education. An ex-tie company member of National School of Drama, New Delhi. He presently holds a fellowship for Cry on “Change Through Tie Process”, and is working in different states like MP, JK, UP, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, and delhi with Cry partners. As a writer-director, his plays have been selected and performed in Jashn-e-BachpanChldren Theatre Festival at National School of Drama, New Delhi. With special interests in area of writing, he has developed original scripts, stories and poems, and also has directed more than 50 plays. He loves making collages and is a proficient speaker.
