On the occasion to celebrate the International Museum Day, Lalbhai Dalpatbhai Museum and N.C. Mehta Gallery takes great pleasure in inviting you to our museum.

The day is being hosted as a part of the International Museum Day celebration which was established by ICOM in 1977. Every year ICOM declares themes relevant to the various issues in the society, and the worldwide community of Museums come together to join the celebration. Theme for this year focuses on the role of museums, as tools for creating peaceful communities and for promoting peaceful relationships among people. Therefore, the art object selected for the special attention from our institution is the pictorial representation of the prestigious saint-poet Kabir.

Schedule for the Day:
Join the celebration along with your family.
11.00 – 12.00 p.m. Guided Tour of the collection, for all participants.
12.00 p.m. onwards children below the age group of 18 years would be engaged in an orientation on life of Kabir, along with gallery activities and brain teasers.
