Exhibition on Aga Khan Award for Architecture and Aga Khan Historic Cities Program

Aga Khan Award for Architecture – 2019
The Aga Khan Award for Architecture [AKAA] is given every three years to projects that set new standards of excellence in architecture, planning practices, historic preservation, and landscape architecture. The Award identifies and encourages building concepts that successfully address the needs and aspirations of societies, in which Muslims have a significant presence.

Aga Khan Historic Cities Program
The Aga Khan Historic Cities Program (AKHCP) works on regeneration projects in historic areas in ways that spur social, economic and cultural development. Its central objective is to improve the lives of the inhabitants of these historic areas while promoting sustainable development models.

The exhibitions are presented with the support of the Aga Khan Trust for Culture

Exhibition Launch will be followed by a Seminar on 12th October titled “Conservation and Local Development” and is organized by the Masters Program in Conservation and Regeneration, FA, CEPT.
