India Foundation for the Arts (IFA) is delighted to present an On-Demand Streaming of Story Reading by Motley as a Fundraiser for India Foundation for the Arts (IFA) featuring Ratna Pathak Shah, Heeba Shah and Naseeruddin Shah. The video is a zoom recording of the live dramatised reading held in support of IFA earlier.

2020 is a milestone year for IFA as we complete 25 years of grantmaking! In a year like no other when the COVID-19 pandemic is looming over all of us, we need your passionate support more than ever to continue our work and reach the next milestone. Buy donor passes and stream the video at your convenience between 6pm on  October 03, 2020 to 06:00 PM  on October 04, 2020.

Ismat Chughtai never wrote a typical boy-meets-girl story or a tale of thwarted love ever. So, this title may seem a bit strange to those familiar with her work. The three stories presented under Teen Ishqiya Afsaane are, in fact, love stories with a difference – of the imaginary, obsessive and unquestioningly devoted kind of love.

Hindustan Chhod Do (Quit India) is a tragic tale of epic proportions. This story is read by Ratna Pathak Shah.

Nivala (The Morsel) is a whimsical take on life in a big city. This story is read by Heeba Shah.

Jadein (Roots) is about the unbreakable bond between a person and home. This story is read by Naseeruddin Shah.
