2021-06-19 19:00:00 2021-06-19 00:00:00 Asia/Kolkata Payal Raval & Darshini Modi`s Bharatanatyam Payal Raval She started learning Bharatnatyam from her childhood and has completed (MPA) Masters in Bharatanatyam (University First) from renowned JG College of Performing Arts in Ahmedabad. Trained under prominent Gurus – Padma Bhushan Shri Mallika Sarabhai, Shrimati Maheshwari Amma, Shri Bijoy Shivram, P.M Kumar, Manali Natali and Dimple Deputy. She has been actively performing in Gujarat Government Shows like Vibrant Gujarat(Gandhinagar), Swarnim Gujarat(Gandhinagar), Gopi Talav Mahotsav(Surat) and the Kite Festival(Surat). She has been titled “Kal Ke Kalakar” by Gujarat State Sangeet Natak Academy in the Year 2017. She was honoured to be the Judge, in Kala Mahakumbh 2018 by Gujarat Govt. She has also been invited by ONGC Officers Mahila Samiti, Ahmedabad to be the Judge of their “Teej Festival 2019”. She also got an opportunity to perform with Padma Bhushan Srimati Mallika Sarabhai and to be a part of her Productions Namely- “Mother River” in Natarani Amphitheatre, Ahmedabad and ‘India Then Now Forever’ in Gudi Samabaraalu – the Temple Festival, Chennai – 2019. She had been working as a Dance Faculty in Darpana Academy of Mrinalini Sarabhai, Ahmedabad. She has worked in an upcoming Web Series “Rocket Boys” as a lead Bharatnatyam Dancer which will be released on SonyLiv. Darshini Modi Dancing since 14 Years. Took training under NRUTI Dance Academy for 9 Years then pursued a Bachelor degree in Performing Arts, Bharatnatyam. Now pursuing a Master Degree in Performing Arts, Bharatnatyam from J.G. College of Performing Arts. Simultaneously taking training and working with Rema Shrikant. Performances: Gave more than 20 performances for prestigious events including. Participated and got selected for World’s Got Talent – 2019, China. Gudi Sambaralu Dance festival, Hydrabad 2019 with Padma Bhushan Mallika Sarabhai. Uttaradh Mahotsav, Modhera sun temple 2016. Darshini Modi
