GIT is celebrating ‘Drug Abuse and Fitness Awareness Programme’ on 06/03/2018, to create awareness about drug abuse and narcotics among students and motivate them to adapt fitness as a lifestyle. Shri Hari Om Gandhi (Zonal Director, NCB) will be the chief guest for the programme. Singing sensation and ‘The Voice India’ fame Mr. Meet Jain will be the celebrity guest for the event. An ‘Anti-Drug Awareness Seminar’ will be delivered by speakers from the ‘High on Life’ foundation. Popular gym centre ‘Parsana Health Centre Pvt. Ltd.’ will carry out BMI (Body Mass Index) checks. Events like ‘Graffiti’, ‘One Day Fitness Challenge’ and ‘ Video Making Competition ‘ will be organized keeping the underlying theme in mind. Ms. Manashree Solanki from ‘Bosom Mitra’ foundation will judge the Graffiti event. Participants from different institutes associated with the Healthy Campus initiative will also participate in the event.
