Launched in 2014, Converge, Youth Ki Awaaz’s flagship event has brought together the sharpest, most inspiring minds driving this transformation across issues that are shaping our world.

This September, Youth Ki Awaaz, in partnership with Sauhard, is bringing Converge to your city – Ahmedabad, to further the conversation on climate action! Join us to talk about how we can impact the public narrative and build policy action on the climate crisis.

The event will feature powerful talks by environment champions, policymakers and activists:

1. Mr Shwetal Shah, Technical Advisor – Climate Change for the Government of Gujarat, has been instrumental in drafting renewable energy policies, State Action Plan on Climate Change, creation of Covenant of Mayors of Gujarat and state-wide climate change awareness campaign.

2. Mudita Vidrohi, Social Activist working on Environmental Issues, with over 10 years of experience in initiatives ranging from research in education and environment, conducting workshops, and coordinating national and international seminars.

3. Kristin Kagetsu, co-founder and chief executive officer of Saathi, a social enterprise dedicated to providing eco-friendly sanitary pads to women everywhere.
