The Concept : A half day power packed program on the theme of making, managing & producing short films. It would have the screening of best short films created by participants followed by a panel discussion. PANEL DISCUSSION Topic : The Art, Science & Commerce Of Short Film Making The programme shall start with a panel discussion with the stalwarts of Gujarati Film and Entertainment Industry followed by screening of Best Short Films. SHORT FILM CONTEST Format (Rules & Regulations): We are delighted to announce the Ahmedabad Short Film Contest on the theme “AHMEDABAD”. It is very interestingly based on history, culture, heritage, business or amazing facts & insights of Ahmedabad/Amdavadis. The pre-requisites are: • It is open for all age group (individual or in group). • There is no limit on numbers of entries of short films from individuals /groups. • Stories essentially be based on history, culture, heritage, business or amazing facts & insights of Ahmedabad/ Amdavadis. • The concept, creation & the content should be original in nature. • The duration of the short film should not exceed the time limit of more than 5 minutes (300 Seconds; Inclusive of credits). • Entry can be sent in English/Hindi/Gujarati Language. • Out of all the submissions 10 best films shall be screened on the day of the event. • The group of eminent jury shall select the best work and decide winners. • All participants shall be given participation certificate/appreciation certificate. • The best three films shall be awarded a certificate and a trophy on the day of the event. • All the films shall be uploaded on a YouTube channel linked to AMA Site.
