Experience this year’s Monsoon Hideout trek of DivingDeep – a dayout hiking retreat at the forest of Panchmahal- Jambughoda by soaking in the rains.

Let’s gather and greet monsoon by nourishing ourselves in the wilderness of cold rains. Let’s dive deep; simply to be more simple, curious and vulnerable.

Dayout activities:
Trekking, hiking, nature-sports, nature connection, nature-contemplation exercises, culture & agriculture delights, exploring lifestyles- life skills and much more to nutrify energies in the rains ..

Make your connections stronger with your own body along with the unimaginable earth, soil and Mother Nature. Learn daypack essentials of hiking and explore the outdoors with pro-hikers & hiking enthusiasts. Grab few friends to this trip for a fun-filled mindful adventure.

Hiking will be followed with 10 to 12 kms of trek. Participation would require basic level of fitness since the terrain would be with rocky & murky trails along with some elevation changes on hilly peaks; though with smaller distances as the trek is divided in two intervals.

Anyone above 12 years can participate in this excursion. We will provide whole guidance and facilitation of mentioned activities. You will be served only veg meals (a breakfast, a lunch and a hightea) during the trip. Non-AC transportation will be arranged from our side. This dayout trek is divided in three batches; kindly refer the below details for the same.

Hiking Essentials:
You need to wear full sleeve shirt (camouflage/ earthy/ dark green or brown coloured) and hiking pant (camouflage/ earthy/ dark green or brown coloured). Entire clothing has to be a full body covered, synthetic/ dry-fit/ cotton material, light-weight, comfortable, breathable and not with skin-tight fabric. Strictly do not carry jeans. Strictly do not wear or carry any kind of jewellery, ornaments and currency. Do not apply perfumes, sunscreen or any other lotions on your body during the program. You need to carry a hat/ cap and a bandana to cover face and scalp while in the sun. Strictly do not carry any food packets, chocolates, chewing gums, energy bars, plastic bags or any other plastic material. Instead of food-packs, you may carry fruits or lemons to have during travel. We are carrying a first-aid, glucose packs and snacks; though eating in the sanctuary area and while trekking is not permissible. You need to carry hiking/ sports shoes along with cotton/ sports material thick socks. You need to carry plenty of water.

A checklist of things that you need to carry:
1. A daypack
2. Drinking water, A Pet bottle, 1 ltr each
3. A cap
4. A bandana/ cloth to cover your face during hike and wipe off
5. A thin towel
6. Rain Jacket/ poncho
7. Extra pair of socks
8. A waste bag

Doctors who are a dentist in business. Manek Patel “Setu” is a researcher-writer known for the subject of World Heritage City Ahmedabad. They have written 3 books on various subjects of Ahmedabad city and Ahmedabad city as well as made 3 documentaries.

Dr. Manek Patel ‘Setu’ started the writing activity with a daily letter, after that he published an article on the 5th pup installment named ‘Ahmedabad Katha’ in ‘Gujarat Samachar’. Later, ‘Ahmedabad-Katha’ was published as a book. In addition to six years of study and research at the end of 2009 Dr. Manek Patel had created ‘This is Ahmedabad’. Also at the same time, in their ‘Divya Bhaskar’ published an article named ‘Mirate Ahmedabad’ and ‘Karnavati Crossword’.

After Gujarat Samachar and Divyabhaskar, a 10-week article named ‘Ahmedabad of Ahmedabad’ was published in Nav Gujarat Samachar during 2019-3 and Dr. Manek Patel, writes articles for many years in Gujarat Government’s ‘Gujarat’ Deepotsavi issue by invitation.
