Sahaj: Vernacular Furniture of Gujarat, which is among the first few publications of CEPT University Press, will be inaugurated by Shri Vijaybhai Rupani, Chief Minister of Gujarat on 10th October 2018 at 7:00 pm at Gujarat University Grounds, near helmet circle, Ahmedabad during the Navratri Dance Festival organised by Government of Gujarat.

Sahaj is co-authored by Mitraja Bais, Jay Thakkar, Samrudha Dixit and Ben Cartwright. This research is part of the Vernacular Furniture of North-West India project conducted collaboratively by Design Innovation and Craft Resource Center (DICRC), CEPT University and the South Asian Decorative Arts and Crafts Collection Trust (SADACC), UK and presents nearly 2000 pieces of vernacular furniture and associated objects of Gujarat from 1900 to present day. This publication is supported by Gujarat Tourism, Government of Gujarat.
