‘Walking By’
The world through the streets, through the stories of the people.

By Krishna M. Lalbhai

Travelling takes us to all kinds of places. Some places may have great historical importance, whereas some might have beautiful examples of modernism, some places may have urban mazes, whereas some might have stunning landscapes. But, are these places really defined by such stereotypes?

Would Britain be Britain without its iconic red telephone boxes? Would Eastern Europe be a wanderer’s paradise without its bustling squares and charming coffee shops?

This project has been inspired by the unspoken stories of different places, by the world through the eyes of a passerby, by the stories of the people and places.

The event will begin with a conversation with Krishna herself, with her sharing her travel stories and later in the evening, the audience could immerse themselves in the stories as portrayed through her photos.
