He is also known for his critically acclaimed play The Darkroom 2.0 – An immersive sensory experience show, which has done the most number of shows in intimate independent theatre category and has also been rated 4 stars by Times of India. Rangaai Theatre company is the only immersive sensory experience theatre company in Mumbai. UNTITLED is a narration of true stories and a presentation of the shocking reality of society. The piece intends on showing an audience member the terrifying ordeal that rape victims are put through by gruesome acts of the administration, political system as well as their communities. It raises questions on the normalization of a rape culture and the social stigma that is attached to it. You will be made to experience the horror of the power play, that rape perpetrates, by being thrown into the same situations as those victimized. You will not just be watching the play but living it through performance. This will be achieved by intruding into one’s private space and taking control of their experiences by delivering emotions such as disgust, anguish, and guilt. All of this in a hope that you are outraged enough to channelize that rage into some tangible results helping overcome the rape crisis that our country is facing. Through this performance art piece, we aim to educate, encourage and sensitize our audiences towards this growing issue. We’ll also guide you to form and join a league of changemakers by involving a forum platform to ideate, share skills and knowledge to collaborate for a change. The performance piece will compromise 4 true stories where the audience will play the role of bystanders to the incidents. It will be executed in an immersive sensory experience format, which means, you will have to trust our expertise and surrender to the art. We may put you into uncomfortable positions and scenarios which have intricately been designed to elevate your experience.
