We are thrilled to announce the 42nd Saptak Annual Music Festival which will be organized as per our tradition from the 1st January 2022 to 13th January 2022. This year’s festival is dedicated to the memory of Sangeet Martand Padma Vibhushan Pandit Jasraj & Padma Bhushan Pt. Rajan Mishra. The festival will be organized on-site and at the same time it will be streamed live for the global audience. For the on-site setup, we will abide by government guidelines and ensure compliance.

The festival is being organized as follows:

Sessions: 2/3 sessions every day. Additional 2 morning sessions on two Sundays. In all 35 sessions.
Special Tribute: Two sessions each will be devoted as a tribute to Bharat Ratna Pt. Bhimsen Joshi and Padma Vibhushan Ustad Ali Akbar Khan to celebrate their centenary.
As per government guidelines, for the on-site setup, in-person attendance will be limited to 400 persons. We will strictly follow sanitization and social distancing protocols.
Online streaming: The festival will be streamed live on https://www.shaale.com/watch/saptak2022 and each session will be available to watch for 48 hours from the time of performance.
Due to the COVID situation some changes may occur at the last minute.

Arush – stories of peace

We spend our lives caring for others often forgetting to pause for ourselves. But the peace we seek has always been within us—we just need a moment to reconnect. Arush storytelling performance offers that moment. A space to breathe to feel and to rediscover the quiet beauty in our own lives.

In an intimate raw format narrating and embodying characters weaving music and songs into the storytelling. Through an anthology of four original Gujarati stories I bring to life the unnoticed stories of everyday people—individuals who carry small but profound desires much like our own. These immersive narratives told in contemporary Gujarati are not just stories—they are a mirror a sigh of relief and a journey back to yourself.
