AF presents its next edition of Artspeaks. This time we bring you a Mumbai based artist, Mukund Iyer who through the exhibition of his sketches and paintings takes us on a journey across Turkey, Nepal, Vietnam, and India. This journey of his is not merely a physical one, or the one restricted to the five senses and evident reality but also extends to metaphysical energies omnipresent around us through intuition. A surreal layer comes out of this process of seeing the world which he has developed, through unconditioning.

Join us for an informal conversation with the artist around his works, this Saturday 6 pm onwards. Mukund will also be giving a two-hour workshop on Sunday at 2 pm on the Art of Unconditioning, open on registration. The exhibition cum sale shall remain open till 20th December 2018.

Open to all and free.

Being a Bio­ architect and social artist Mukund has been on a path to bridge the void between the two. The observed ARCHITECTURAL spaces from the journey are reinterpreted using the scale, proportion, colors and include natural and human-made spaces. The
gibberish surrealism and the little yellow men in the paintings kindle the naughtiness in that space in the viewer’s mind, this play is the ART. The paintings are based on the lines of optical illusion and further gives the freedom to let go the boundaries we create
in a borderless reality. The art of “unconditional” the perceived reality of space.
