A boy at the door seeks permission to enter and is greeted by a barrage of questions, the Master asks from behind the door. His answers fall on the testing ears of the Master, who pushes the boy to further examine, contemplate and reflect on his state. The boy in his introspection encounters obstacles within, that need to be resolved, for him to reach the station of crossing the threshold. Each obstacle presents itself in the form of a story, an adventure, that the seeker must undertake, in order to shed his ego and desires, to embrace unity and be free. The idea of a seeker finding truth through a direct personal experience of it, illustrated through a journey that the seeker undertakes, entering multiple stories as multiple characters in multiple mediums to arrive at evolution, from one stage to another to another, till the boat tips. 4 stories branching out of a singular narrative to tell a tale of seeking and receiving, from being light to spreading light to shining bright – the Unity of vision. A wise boatman steers the arrogant traveler into the mouth of the river, only to rejuvenate and empower him, a cousin-to-cousin secret chat, which liberates and breaks open the cage of adulation and self-inflicted bondage. A dreamer who relentlessly follows his dream, only to find an infinite loop of realisation. The journey of a water droplet from the ocean to the clouds to rain and again, and each time the droplet forgets the last journey. The relationship of parts being the A multimedia musical Puppet theatre performance with animations and projections exploring the concept of ‘ the unity of being’. The performance uses the metaphors of soul, body, and shadow to realise the Idea of the True self. The concept of Pluralism, and the Unity of all existence as One. The Show promotes Unity, Love, and Peace, by the celebration of diversity, for there are, as many ways as there are seekers. The performance enacted by two actors in english ;the master and the student, the student being in present day attire the master evocative of Shams, synergised with dancers, puppeteers and visual theatre with music specially composed for the same.
