Battered from all directions, with so many unexpected blows, finally, life seems to be pulling herself up on her feet again. And yet, none can claim to be untouched by the impact. Entire humanity got affected, directly or indirectly. So many heart wrenching stories, so many unanswered questions. Some called it the result of collective karma of mankind, others called it nature’s way of whipping things to order. The pandemic, the lockdown and all that followed also made us realize how little do we really need in life. It made us ask some fundamental questions. So many realizations, several lessons learnt. And, one hopes that the impact of all the soul searching is not short-lived. When in the midst of all the chaos, for most, connecting with the divine, in whatever way, seemed like a soothing balm, a ray of hope. Reading or listening to the immortal works of great Saints, realized masters gave solace and also provided that most needed ray of hope. As November arrived, we at Banyan Tree helplessly looked at the scenario which was far from suitable to take off on our annual Ruhaniyat journey. We kept receiving calls from our artists, audiences enquiring on when will it be possible. Finally, the wait is over and we are all set to present Ruhaniyat once again, in an all-new Hybrid format. Though except Mumbai, it will not be a physical concert, we are thankful that we can present Ruhaniyat at all, even if in a digital format to all our loyal audiences across the country. And, despite the difficult times to be able to present Ruhaniyat in all the eight cities, once again, we are truly grateful to our National Partners Tata Consultancy Services for joining hands with us yet again. So, on 27th and 28th February, we present the Hybrid Ruhaniyat in the usual venue of CSMVS, in Mumbai. It will be in accordance with all the directives of the government, which also means we will have to limit the number of audiences. However, the concert will be also streamed live for all who have been eagerly waiting for it. Besides the artists/groups that will actually travel and be with us physically, we will also have some pre-shot presentations including of artists from other countries. These will be specially shot in villages, actual habitats, by our team. Rest of the seven cities i.e. Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Chennai and Pune; we will be presenting digital Ruhaniyat. These specially curated episodes will be a combination of freshly shot performances as well as some exceptional performances from our Ruhaniyat archives, keeping in mind the taste of each city and acts which they might have missed out over the years.
