To support the cause, the leading artistes of international fame are coming together to present their art virtually to the world and you will witness soulful LIVE performances from stalwarts of western Rajasthan Folk music. The concert will take you through the alleyways of folk music where prodigal talents like Sartaj Khan and Sarwar Khan (Dangal fame child artistes, Mirchi Music Award Winners) and Thanu Khan (7 years old of Sony Superstar Singer fame) will leave you mesmerized with their renditions of traditional songs sung through the ages by the musical tribes. This event is a virtual concert that concedes all boundaries of faith, where on the one hand you will get a taste of soulful Muslim Sufi songs and on the other, you will revel in the purity of Hindu devotional songs. The day presents a very strong lineup of other legendary artistes like Maati Ke Laal & SaReGaMaPa fame Roje Khan, SaReGaMaPa & Rising Star fame Hayat Khan who along with Rajasthani Dance performers will present a unique rendition of folk music and art through the virtual concert. The event will also dwell upon the history of music in Western Rajasthan and will acquaint you with a diverse range of instruments, including unique and nearly extinct instruments like ‘Kamayacha’. You will witness an instrumental ‘Jugalbandi’ of Khartal & Dholak by international artist Sawai Khan. The powerful amalgamation of the sounds of ‘Jugalbandi’ will transport you to the rustic lands of Jaisalmer and give you a taste of the rich musical culture and tradition of the artistes. The proceeds from this virtual concert will go towards feeding and providing appropriate COVID-19 healthcare to over 2000 folk artist families. We also thank our supporters like Sagacious IP and SafeoKid, who will contribute an additional 10% of ticket value for each ticket sold.
