The play has been produced by Lata Shah and directed by Jigar Bundela and is set in Kutch region on the India – Pakistan border, within the household of Major General Zinjuwadia. The entire play revolves around the events that take place within this house. The play has a total of two acts in it with two scenes before the interval and four scenes after. There are twelve characters of which the majority are army based. The play uses comedy and satire to poke holes in the futility of terrorism, high society culture and hypocritical love. The core and central thought of this play revolves around the question that if peace – talks inevitably take place after the war, then why not before the war; highlights the fact that only a handful people who are power-mongers want war whereas from the foot soldier in the battlefield to the common man in the streets denounce it. They want to present a classic play to a discerning Gujarati theatre audience after contemporizing the play by infusing it with the current issues that impact us all in the society and have attempted to awaken the audience’s thought process through the play.
