Natarani brings to you the music from the dunes of Kutch dessert. Kala Varso Kutch Music Group bring to you the magic of Kutchi folk music.

Folk Music has always been very integral to the people of Kachchh. In fact, this is a land of legends revealed through folklores and musical tradition. And the Folk Musicians were highly esteemed in the society. There are more than 26 musical genres of in Kutch. But today the sustainability of many of these forms of Folk music is in danger for a variety of reasons.

Kala Varso was founded in 2012 to preserve and perpetuate the rich tradition of Folk Music & Culture of the Kutch region and to provide financial & social security to the Folk Music artists. They do so by recognising and supporting the Folk Musicians in a way that enables them to continue their musical practices.

Over the last 6 years Kala Varso has been successful in reviving the tradition of Reyans. The local media coverage of the Reyans brought back the visibility of Folk Music and Musicians again.

So come and enjoy this endangered but amazing tradition from the dessert of Kutch only at Natarani.
