As a writer she has written two books on Odissi dance ‘Bhartiya Nrutya’, ‘Odissi Nrutya aur Bhartiya Sanskruti’ in Hindi. She has two books ‘Dwarkara Suryast’ & Bhaktakavi ‘Narshi Mehta’ in Oriya language. She has choreographed many dance drama i.e. Shree Radha based on poets of Shri Ramakant Rath, Vaishnav Jan tene re kaheye.., Ganga, Queen’s Steep well…Celebration of womanhood through water, Geet Govinda, Astanayika of Kalidasa, Shree Krishna Rasa Leela,M mohan se Mohan etc. In 2013, She was honoured with ‘Gujarat Gaurav Award’ by Gujarat Sangeet Natak Academy and in 2014, she was honoured with ‘Indira Gandhi Rajbhasha Award’ for her book ‘Odissi Nrutya aur Bhartiya Sanskruti’’ by Honourable President of India Shri Pranav Mukherji.

The sentence at the death of Gandhi by Sociologist Dr Ram manohar Lohia “ Aj Jamuna ne Dwarika ka Run Chukaya” It means Krishna took birth at Mathura and die near Somnath (Dwarika) and Gandhi took birth at Porbandar and die at Delhi( Bank of River jamuna).

Basically it is the story of two yugas through two yuga purusha Krishna and Gandhi. Their lives and deeds, of struggle and message, their courage, thoughts, speech and behavior, their equality and their humanity of difference and divinity. In the context of these two great men, in a new perspective, we will present it in the Odissi dance drama “Mohan Se Mohan” or Mohan thi Mohan Sudhi. If you start with the name of equality, then two Mohan , one Mohan worshiped as a God another is Mohandas.
War by welfare, Krishna defeated the unrighteous people; By adopting satyagraha and non-violence, Gandhi freed the country from the British Empire. One is of a state of intense politics, another is symbol of simplicity. One is Makhan chor, another is Satyagrahi. If peace is not resolved, then by turning the Sudarshan Chakra, Krishna wins the War. Gandhi used to fast for protest and bring revolution of Swavalamban using Charkha.
So this production seeks to draw an interesting parallel between the lives of Shri Krishna and Mahatma Gandhi. Two symbolic characters, Chakra and Charkha is taken to depict these characters. The Sutradhar co-ordinates and offers dance on the song beutifully written By Kabi Tushar Shukla., which is now analytical, now philosophic .Short enacted scenes of topical interest keep intervening.
