Rasadhwani presents – GANDHI GITA Gandhi Gita is a Bharatanatyam production inspired by a deep comparative study of The Bhagavad Gita and My Experiments with Truth by Mahatma Gandhi. It explores Gandhi’s inner conflicts, his pursuit of equilibrium, non-violence, and sacrifice, mirroring the Gita’s philosophy. Through a non-linear narrative, the performance portrays Gandhi not as a historical figure but as a universal symbol of the Karmayogi, Shantidoot, and Man of Nature, embodying the essence of eternal truth and harmony. PANCHALI – FROM FIRE TO FIRE Panchali – From Fire to Fire is a theatrical dance adaptation inspired by The Palace of Illusions by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni. Retelling the Mahabharata from Draupadi’s perspective, the production fuses literature and Indian classical dance to bring forth her journey of strength, desire, vengeance, and divine grace. As Agni Putri, Panchali, and Krishnaa, Draupadi embodies fire—both destructive and transformative. Her story, though set in ancient times, resonates deeply with contemporary struggles, portraying her as a symbol of resilience and immortality.
