After an exhilarating first season in 2017, Fangirl is back! Pesh hai The Big Squat! An effort spanning 8 weeks (yes!), starring 32 handpicked artists from the Indian Independent Circuit. The exciting format features standup comedy, films, spoken word poetry, food and of course – music! The Format: Fridays – Independent films Saturdays – Music Sundays – Comedy All week – Food, Popup stalls For 8 weeks. Jan 19 – March 11th! **** LINEUP **** AKASH MEHTA: He finds the easiest way to communicate with the audience, is present anecdotes that he is familiar with. “I will always work on something that I can connect with. It has to affect me and move me for people to either find it ludicrous or hilarious. Though a story, I find comedy the most honest way to get in touch with another person.” His shows are never scripted, they are just an amalgam of his thoughts presented on stage. RAG BRAHMBHATT: A 21 year old human who is mostly harmless, has decided to turn to comedy upon the realization that he can not become Steve Jobs. Now he dreams of making people laugh until the next realization kicks in.
