Pronto, era assim (That’s How It Was) – 13′
Directors: Patrícia Rodrigues & Joana Nogueira
“That’s how it was” is an animated documentary, executed in stop motion and complemented with 2D animations. The short film presents the life story of six seniors, four ladies and a couple. In an interview mode, they give voice to the objects who protagonize this documentary. They shared their life stories in fragmented moments that oscillate between the past, present and future.

Deus Providenciará (God Will Provide) – 15′
Director: Luís Porto
Maria lives alone in the countryside, on a remote village. She is a woman of strong moral and religious beliefs. Alone and isolated, she has no way of justifying a sudden and unwanted pregnancy. Coming out of the hospital, where her pregnancy was confirmed, Maria doesn’t know what to do. “How to conciliate the demands of religion with personal will?”
But an accident might be the solution. She just needs to remain still. No one would blame her for an accident, right? Maria is alone.�Maria finds her solace and battles solitude, but her refuge is now her calvary.
What will prevail: the fear of being ostracized and judged by society or the love of God?

An intruder arrives at a country house in search of something he can take and leaves without knowing if he took something or if he left something Good, if he invaded ou if he was Stroked by destiny or by the coincidences of life. A moral film without Redemption.

Prefiro não dizer (I’d Rather Not Say) – 11′
Director: Pedro Augusto Almeida
The day begins with an exchange of favours. An interview, a football game, cigarettes after cigarettes. Routine fragments of those who live in an isolated space which labels and conditions life choices.

#Lingo (#Lingo) – 10′
Director: Vicente Nirō
To overcome loneliness and contempt of others, Lingo connects to social networks to get some companionship. Briefly he’ll realize that online friends, likes and selfies do not bring happiness.

Os cravos e a Rocha (The Carnations & the Rock) – 16′
Director: Luísa Sequeira
April 25, 1974, the iconoclastic Brazilian filmmaker Glauber Rocha was in Portugal. Joined the collective collective film , “As Armas e o Povo”. With its foreign and peculiar look, breaks the conventional filmmaking rules
