Play Synopsis :-

Father of a Young lawyer Anahita is charged with serious allegations of leading a mob, murdering and raping people during the 2002 riots. Absolutely convinced that her father is being framed by revenge-seeking NGOs, Anahita defends her fathers case with dexterous precision, blowing holes in the prosecuting attorneys case and wins the case with considerable ease.

Though she has won the case in the court the woman in her is still struggling to discover if she has actually won the case or not. In the journey of finding the truth she discovers a Tale of Tears.

The play was orignially presented few years back and had a good run in Ahmedabad. Indie Productions , Scrapyard – The Theatre & Rangayan Theatre & Acting Workshop together have revived the play for the people of Ahmedabad.

Mowgli Baloo Tanak Tum Tum play was created with the blessings and inspiration of the late legendary Gujarati writer Sri Dhiruben Patel. We dedicate this show and बच्चाparty children`s theatre festival to her.

About Play:

Mowgli Baloo Tanak Tum Tum is a children`s play written and directed by Kabir Thakore. Abandoned after an accident baby Mowgli is taken and raised by a family of wolves. As the boy grows older the wise panther Bagheera realizes he must be returned to his own kind in the nearby city. Bagheera hands over this responsibility to Baloo the bear. On Mowgli and Baloo`s maiden visit to City They meet Kuhoo-the city girl in this musical tale. What happens next is worth watching.
