Spanish music, as a genre, is popularly celebratory and inclusive in nature. It is created for and enjoyed by the masses: in salons, in street festivals, in theatres or in movies. Hence, it is a perfect balance between \’art\’ and accessibility, unlike classical music of many other cultures which can often be isolated or elitist. The elements of Spanish music are universal and seem to effortlessly blend with other music genres, leading to an easy fusion with Indian classical music, Jazz or even Pop music.

The Iberian Night is a glimpse of this musical world, wherein classical guitarist Aditya Gandhi is joined by mezzo-soprano Ankna Arockiam. They present an array of music for guitar and voice, full of love and dreams, of stars and lullabies, of song and dance – a celebration of life through the historic music of Iberia.
