She has been Asia’s first newspaper ‘Mumbai Samachar’, feature editor and editor of the Gujarati edition of ‘Meri Saheli’. Nandini Trivedi has written various books. Among them, music subject four books ‘Mile Sur’ is about classical music/rag-based film songs, four versions. ‘Geet Gurjari’ and ‘Gaurav Gurjari’ and ‘Hehat Ke Sur’ based on the history of Gujarati music is a book about music therapy and raga based film songs. Recently published his book ‘Haiyane Darbar’ is a useful book related to Gujarati music. He has compiled books like ‘Matrutirth’, ‘Memories of the sea’, ‘The Essential Gandhi’, wrote the tour description book ‘Spandan America’. He is a music researcher, art knowledgeable, supporter of cultural activities and promoter. Famous classical singer Padmavibhushan Dr. Prabha Atre had his music training for a while and has been working till the end with his activities. Nandini Trivedi has been invited for radio conversation on various topics by All India Radio, BBC Radio and Sydney Broadcasting Service. He has anchored various programs and some documentary films and gave his voice for audio books. Maharashtra State Gujarati Sahitya Academy honored Nandini Trivedi with ‘Jeevan Gaurav’ award for unmatched contribution in the field of journalism.
