The Game of Moves – A Hindi Play

Duration:- 45 min
Cast:- Milan Parmar Neha Lakhara Dhruvil Raval
Writer:- Shubhash Shah
Adaptation & Direction:- Jay Dumater

In the world of theatre every move is calculated every word rehearsed—but what happens when the lines between reality and performance begin to blur?

An ambitious director and a passionate actor—bound by love and creativity—invite a third performer into their latest production. Together they craft a gripping drama a play within a play where relationships are tested boundaries are crossed and the script is never truly set in stone. As the scenes unfold personal tensions seep into the performance and what starts as a controlled act spirals into a dangerous game of emotions betrayal and power.

When the hero rewrites his role reality bends to his will. The play takes an unexpected turn and a deadly game begins—one where trust is shattered revenge takes center stage and a single sip could mean the difference between life and death. As the final act approaches the audience is left on the edge of their seats questioning: is this still a performance or has the real game just begun?

In The Game of Moves every player has a strategy. But in the end only one will dictate the final move.

A guided tour of the new exhibition “Shaktirupa: Goddess as Imagined by the Artists”

She nurtures and protects; she provides but can also destroy. Shakti, the divine feminine energy of the Goddess, is both multiform and multifaceted. Across Hindu artistic traditions, artists have interpreted and visualized her various forms from literary texts, oral traditions and popular mythology. Through their creative agency, Shakti comes to life on the painted surface and is transformed by artistic vision and skill.

The exhibition, “Shaktirupa: Goddess as Imagined by the Artists” presents carefully curated paintings and drawings from the Kasturbhai Lalbhai Collection and N C Mehta Collection, alongside folios from the Durga Saptashati manuscript housed at the Lalbhai Dalpatbhai Institute of Indology.
