The Land of Mea Lilo

The audience is invited by Mea & Lilo two quirky characters in their discovery of ‘The Land of Mea Lilo ‘ – a place of hidden objects. What happens to them there and how do they overcome the challenges connecting to the inner child for grownups.

The soundscape through live music helps deep dive from the word go and transports the audience into Mea and Lilo’s world of hidden objects. The music subtly and beautifully also helps elevate the emotional state of the watcher while witnessing the characters’ journey. They face with wit teamwork and determination.

Witness their adventures of creative explorations and watch your imagination come to life! I see you see what could it be?! The work focuses on the joy of imagination and plays through the exploration of banal everyday objects by two heartwarming and not-so-perfect characters. The performance puts value in sharing unfiltered emotions and using a minimalist approach to language with an emphasis on physical language which comes naturally to children.

About Play:

Mowgli Baloo Tanak Tum Tum is a children`s play written and directed by Kabir Thakore. Abandoned after an accident baby Mowgli is taken and raised by a family of wolves. As the boy grows older the wise panther Bagheera realizes he must be returned to his own kind in the nearby city. Bagheera hands over this responsibility to Baloo the bear. On Mowgli and Baloo`s maiden visit to City They meet Kuhoo-the city girl in this musical tale. What happens next is worth watching.
