After the roaring success of Kasturba, Akoopar, Agnikanya and Samudra Manthan, Gujarat’s leading theater production house Jashwant Thaker Memorial Foundation and Director Shri Aditi Desai bring their new venture for theater lovers – “Dhaad”.

It’s the story of a rebellious Robbery, where the robber is robbed.

It is an intense drama based in a dry desert of Kutch, full of passion and aggression. It is a life story of an unapologetic antagonist Ghelo that takes you into a disturbing and thought-provoking territory of his barren life. His eccentricities will intrigue you.

It also tells you the story of the three female protagonists ,who have had rough deal in life, where they were treated as sex object and their only role was perceived to be serving their dominant man.

This play is based on the original story of eminent writer Dr.Jayant Khatri and a novel by Shri Vinesh Antani. Play- Dhaad is penned down by well known writer Shri Vinesh Antani.

Keeping the content of the play in mind, we humbly request the audiences to strictly be above 14 years in age.

Mowgli Baloo Tanak Tum Tum play was created with the blessings and inspiration of the late legendary Gujarati writer Sri Dhiruben Patel. We dedicate this show and बच्चाparty children`s theatre festival to her.

About Play:

Mowgli Baloo Tanak Tum Tum is a children`s play written and directed by Kabir Thakore. Abandoned after an accident baby Mowgli is taken and raised by a family of wolves. As the boy grows older the wise panther Bagheera realizes he must be returned to his own kind in the nearby city. Bagheera hands over this responsibility to Baloo the bear. On Mowgli and Baloo`s maiden visit to City They meet Kuhoo-the city girl in this musical tale. What happens next is worth watching.
