Ahmedabad Heritage Festival-2018

We would love to invite you all to celebrate the Dhal Ni Pol Heritage festival from 23rd to 25th of November. Wall graffiti workshop, food marathon, Fusion music, Salsa night, Movie night, street games competition, Art & Architectural exhibitions and lot more are included in the program.

Take part in all the exciting activities happening at Dhal – Ni – Pol, Khadia, Ahmedabad and share your memories with us!

This initiative is a part of LXS (Local to Society) project- CSR Initiative of Brihati Foundation. Project is led by Spanish architect Mr. Manuel M. De Las Heras and supported by prestigious organisations like Threee Foundation and Alliance Française Ahmedabad.

LXS team has been working on improving the condition of public spaces in the precinct of Dhal Ni Pol, a high valued heritage area in the Old City of Ahmedabad.

For this project, we have included the installation of DUSTBINS and waste management program, STREET ART through wall paintings, addition of VERTICAL GARDENS with 25 native species of plants, new design and devices for STREET VENDORS, rehabilitation of architectural elements as otlas, chokdi, cotta stone pavements and facades of damaged havelis.
