1. Due to highly detailed nature of Gond, we recommend you to carry your glasses if you have power in your eyes.

2. We will try and keep the environment of the workshop light with music.

3. We will be providing you the materials necessary for the workshop. However if you wish to carry anything extra you may do so.

4. Please reach the venue 15 minutes before the time of the workshop so we can start the workshop on time.

One such art is Gond which traces its roots back to the Dravidian era. Gonds are an adivasi tribe settled in Central India who practice the mystical Gond art by putting together simple dots and lines to create paintings that are symbolic representation of mother nature and her different elements. These paintings appeal to the modern artistic sensibilities and their dominant themes are of folklore, tattoos and natural elements. The artist use natural colours derived from Charcoal, colored soil, plant sap, leaves, and cow dung. With the course of time Gond art has switched onto canvas and paper by talented artist. Workshop Details: – History of gond art – Baics – Hands on exercise on placement mat The 4 hour workshop demystifies this magical art by giving you one-on-one experience opportunity with the artist and a chance to create your own art piece.
