Conducting the workshop will be a well known actor, director and screenwriter Abhinay Banker where you will explore your self and your hidden talent, you gain confidence, develop your stage presence, understand your body and other technical aspects to be a sharp actor. Join hands with Compartment S4 this winter amidst the Sahyadri hills in a quaint village called Khadki, Gujarat. Hand-made is an opportunity to engage with the people and building practices of the rural community of Khadki. It is a hands on experience in building a multi-functional space and play area. Khadki is a village in the Sahyadri hills, on the fringe of Gujarat and Maharashtra with vast green landscapes and a river on its edge. Our aim is to involve participants in experimenting with local materials and techniques towards a sustainable building practice and to engage in promoting local craft. The workshop is open to all professional. Recommended for students, designers, inquisitive teenagers or professionals for a journey of experiments and experiences. ‘hand-made’ is an initiative by “Compartment S4”, a group of architects from CEPT University interested in designing interventions which impact communities at various scales, exploring local materials and resources in the process of making while activating spaces.
