Aquarelle painting also known as watercolour painting is among a painting type in which the paints are pigment suspended in a water-based solution.

Watercolours are usually translucent and appear luminous because the pigments are laid in a pure form with few fillers obscuring the pigment colours.

The most commonly used application of watercolour is on paper which is either cold pressed (porous paper) or hot pressed (non-porous paper).

This workshop is organized by pH Designs in collaboration with Versatile Maniacs.

Workshop Details :
– What you get to learn:
– Basics and brief on aquarelle painting.
– Difference between aquarelle and other paintings.
– Introduction to aquarelle colours, mixing and merging on paper and pallet.
– Introduction to different brushes and papers.
– Techniques involved in creating certain effects.
– Layering the painting.

What you need to bring:
Students need to bring basic stationery and colouring tray with them.

– At the end of workshop, students take along with them their own painted Aquarelle Painting artwork in A4 size.
