Mixed media, in visual art, refers to an artwork in the making of which more than one medium has been employed.

Date: 25-27th July, 2017
Time: 2PM – 5PM

Mix Media Workshop organized by pH Designs in collaboration with Versatile Maniacs.

Workshop Details:
The three-day workshop will cover Mixed Media Techniques featuring a wide variety of traditional and assorted techniques that would include painting, using stencils, textures, prepping backgrounds, applying different kinds of inks, decoupage, and miscellaneous
accessories.

All the material is provided to student at workshop and they can take the final artwork at home.

Day 1 – Students are introduced to mixed media art and taught step-by- step technique, layouts, materials sourcing & using, and applications to practice before preparing the final artwork.

Day 2- Students will be provided an 8 by 10 canvass to work with. They now will start making their own artwork looking at the reference artworks present at the studio to get the better idea, using the varied provided materials

Day 3- Students continue the artwork and finally paint the same, give finishing touches and take the artwork prepared.

Mehta Gallery invites you for Workshop on ‘Traditional Nathdwara Style of Painting’ to be conducted by Mrs. Vaidehi Shah (an Ahmedabad based artist who has been practicing miniature paintings and Pichwai paintings on cloth as well as paper since last 36 years) The workshop will commence at the above mentioned time, starting with a very brief talk on Nathdwara school of painting.
