Read to Lead is a community event to promote the love of books and reading in children.

In its 4th edition this year, the event is a must attend for children of age 4 to 18, parents, educators and anyone else who is a literature fan.

14th of December, 2019 (Saturday), the first day of the conclave, will see a host of inter-school competitions.

– Young Author Vishwesh Desai will conduct “Young Readers’ Critical Reading Workshops” for 10 to 14 and 14 to 18 year olds.

15th of December, 2019 (Sunday), Day 2 of the conclave, will include-

– Exclusive sessions and interactions with Eminent Children’s Authors Lavanya Karthik, Nandini Nayar, Sandhya Rao and Sowmya Rajendran.

– Workshops on the art of illustration by well-known illustrators Atanu Roy and Tanvi Bhat will help children in using to bring their stories to life.

– Storytelling sessions by experts Ajay Dasgupta and Neelma Masand

– Performance Art based workshops by Applied Theatre Facilitator Chetna Mehrotra

– A “Young Writers’ Discussion, by Author Vishwesh Desai for 10 to 18 year olds.

– A line-up of exciting workshops has also been planned for adults covering subjects such as “Feed the Reading Habit in Children” and “Storytelling to Engage, Educate & Facilitate,”

Among the highlights of the event is Lock The Box – A collection of over 15,000 pre-owned books for children and adults on sale at never before seen prices!

Bus Transport Facilities will be available between Redbricks Satellite Campus and can be availed easily while registering for workshops.

Registration is required to attend workshops by experts and each workshop can accommodate only 30 participants. We encourage children and adults to register at the earliest to avoid missing out on all the fun!
