On 24th September, Povera and Airplane Poetry Movement get together to bring you an epic poetry workshop.

We promise you this one thing: at the end of this workshop, you will be a better poet and performer than you were at the beginning of the workshop.

During the workshop, you will learn the following:
1. How to overcome stage-fright and perform to your full potential!
2. How to keep an audience, any audience, engaged through your performance.
3. The difference between page poetry and spoken word poetry.
4. How to write a poem that people will remember, long after it’s over.

And remember – there are only 25 seats up for grabs, so please book your workshop passes quickly! Please don’t say we didn’t warn you!!

About The Facilitators:
Nandini Varma and Shantanu Anand are the co-founders of Airplane Poetry Movement, a platform that works to support spoken word poets in India. They have given performances and talks at TEDxBangalore, TEDxStXavier’sCollege and Times Lit Fest Delhi. Their work has been published in The Bombay Review International Anthology, Muse India, and various other journals.

But what they’re best at is taking workshops. Having conducting over 75 spoken word poetry workshops across India, for people of ages ranging from 13 to 60, they have seen it all.

Now they’re coming to Ahmedabad, and they’re desperate to train and interact with the city’s most passionate poets!
