Monsoon Batch (Basic Course for Starters & Explorers)

Batch 1 – 23rd July to 20th August – Every Sunday – Weekend Batch
(5 Sundays | 10.00 AM – 02.00 PM) (Very Limited Seats)

Batch 2 – 24th July to 25th August –
3 days in a Week-3 Hours in a day
Weekdays Batch (Mon-Wed-Fri – 06.00 PM – 09.00 PM)

Workshops will be conducted by Experienced Mentors –

– Kabir Thakore
– Pratik Gandhi (Guest Mentor)
– Vishal Shah

Detailed Preview –

Rangayan is an open for all workshop which covers all the basics of Theatre & Acting. We believe Theatre or Acting cannot be taught but it can definitely be learnt. Hence, we use theatrical exercises and improvisations which make you learn the basics creatively. The workshop is designed by experts of the field and subjects are divided among the mentors according to their forte to make sure that you get the best.

Rangayan will be basically your first step towards the stage. During the workshop or post the workshop, you either get introduced to a new art form or you get the basics clear before pursuing a career in Acting or you realize if you really want to pursue this as a career. Perhaps, you will realize all of it together! One thing that is sure is that no one goes back without getting something out of the workshop. Ultimately if nothing, we promise you would be a better human being then what you were by the time workshop ends!

Most mosaics are made of small, flat, roughly square, pieces of stone or glass of different colors, known as tesserae. Workshop Details : – This 3 hour mosaic workshop will enable the participants to acquire a basic knowledge of mosaic making. – Participant will learn, Basic techniques, tools and materials involved in creating mosaic art + Cutting tile + adhesive to use + grouting. – Final product is Glass Mosaic Mirror (12″ by 12″) – All required materials will be provided. Hand-made is an opportunity to engage with the people and building practices of the rural community of Khadki. It is a hands on experience in building a multi-functional space and play area. Khadki is a village in the Sahyadri hills, on the fringe of Gujarat and Maharashtra with vast green landscapes and a river on its edge. Our aim is to involve participants in experimenting with local materials and techniques towards a sustainable building practice and to engage in promoting local craft. The workshop is open to all professional. Recommended for students, designers, inquisitive teenagers or professionals for a journey of experiments and experiences. ‘hand-made’ is an initiative by “Compartment S4”, a group of architects from CEPT University interested in designing interventions which impact communities at various scales, exploring local materials and resources in the process of making while activating spaces.
