Founded in 1918 by celebrated artists with an idea of flourishing art and artists’ broadly in India, The Art Society of India is commemorating its centennial ceremony through a life-sized exhibition titled as 100th All India Annual Art Exhibition 2018, which will be roofed under the famous Jehangir Art Gallery, Kala Ghoda, Mumbai from January 16, 2018 to January 18, 2018.
The exhibition is a contest which invites aspiring and professional artists from all across the nation to send their entries. The best ones will become an integral part of the exhibition’s awing elements and will also get an opportunity to win fabulous cash prizes as well as recognition amongst the global art fraternity. There are two phases to participate and the last day for submitting entries will be on December 7, 2017, along with a nominal participatory fee. The mediums, genres and subjects are completely open, and the creators get a wider scope of contribution as the authorities allow to submit paintings, sculptures, graphics, and even drawings.
