According to a survey by one of NC’s leading media house, Carolinians are most afraid of snakes and commitments. But the Charlotte Art Weekly is not here to deliver you these topics. We are here to make your week jovial by informing you about creative gatherings happening around your vicinity. The Charlotte Art Weekly has reached its 20th week, and with the increasing number of events, the struggle of choosing only the best handful event is amplifying simultaneously. We are here to give you visual art, performing art, literature, music, photography, theatricals, and everything that your creative instincts deserve.

The creative inspiration of CAW 20 is the distinctive-voiced pop-star Obit-Ben-E-King, who is renowned for composing the Songs of The Century enlisted single “Stand By Me”. Born in the vicinity of NC, USA, King was involved in a band during his high school days before giving out chart-toppers in the genres of Soul, R&B, Pop, Doo-Wop. His songs including So Much Love, I Who Have Nothing, Till I Can’t Take It Anymore have been sung by the various contemporary artist as a tribute and the American songwriter has singer has been honoured with multiple accolades including the Towering Song Award in 2012.
