Gujarat Gaurav Diwas – નૌકા સ્પર્ધા – Boat Race
The Fire Department of Ahmedabad and many other row boat enthusiasts across India were present at the rehearsals of the annual boat race celebration on account of Gujarat Gaurav Divas on April 30th, 2017, Saturday at Riverfront, Ahmedabad. The race was organised by Gujarat government on Sunday 07:00 PM and the whole city was ready to experience the 1st official row boat race of Gujarat.
It was an atmosphere of celebration at Riverfront, with boats, snacks, and families all cheering the energy of the participating athletes. Different colour boats were suiting the various lightings across Ahmedabad, which was visible post 07:00 PM almost everywhere. The light show at the new VS Hospital building looked like a digital imitation of Art.
Celebration on Gujarat Gaurav Divas
Gujarat Gaurav Divas has organised a series of celebrations including the Ahmedabad Book Fair starting from May 1st, 2017 at Gujarat University Convention Centre. With music, art, craft, creativity and enjoyment the Gaurav Divas also celebrates the rich culture and heritage of the state. Various monuments and historically significant places have been given a unique decoration on this occasion.
