Gujarat Gaurav Divas Celebration at Ahmedabad Riverfront

Ahmedabad is shining with big, small and minute lightings at each corner since a week and that is because it’s Gujarat’s birthday. 1st May 2017 is celebrated every year as the Gujarat Gaurav Divas and today is the 57th Gujarat Gaurav Divas. As part of the celebration, this year government has organised grand festivities on the Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad. All through the day various festivities are planned to let Amdavadis participate in the fervour of Gaurav Divas.

08:45 AM– Inaugurating the new Home Guard Building, Lal Darwaja

08:52 AM– Flower dedication ceremony to Sardar Patel Sculpture, Lal Darwaja

09:55 AM– Shravan Teerth Yatra commencement, Jagganath Mandir

11:15 AM– Inaugurating the OPD Block at Civil Hospital

11:50 AM– Inaugurating the new C-type tower at Kacheri Bhavan, Vastrapur

12:15 PM– Inaugurating Ahmedabad Book Fair, University Convention Hall

03:35 PM– Inaugurating Civil Hospital Building and a talk with nursing student, Asarva

04:40 PM– Chief Minister Gruh Scheme: Inaugurating 1000 government residential quarters, Chandkheda

05:35 PM– Cultural display and parade procession, Riverfront
