Kinjal Dave

This 19 year old artist has earned fame in the realm of Gujarati pop-folk music like no one else. With hit tracks like “Ghate to Zindagi Ghate” and “Char Bangdi Vali Audi”, people all around Gujarat are looking forward to grooving to her music this Navratri. Kinjal has performed on international stages, catering to Gujaratis overseas. Her videos have reached up to 46 million views on YouTube and they are still stacking up.

Geeta Rabari

Geeta Rabari, referred to as the “Kutchi Koyal”, is a budding Gujarati folk singer. With tracks like “Roma Ser Ma” and “Masti Ma Mastani”, she created a reputation amongst the audience and became highly popular. She started her career as a singer at a very young age of 10 years, by getting fame within her village, and gradually paved her way up to become one of the most loved Gujarati singers. Unlike others, she strictly adheres to folk songs and enjoys singing them.

Kirtidan Gadhvi

With melodious and highly complex tracks like “Laadki”, “ Gori Radha ne KaaloKaan”, and “Nagar Me Jogi Aaya”, KirtidanGadhvi is an exceptional folk singer of Gujarat. He is known for his dayras, folk songs and classical nuances and also indulges in ghazals, qawalli, bhajans and Bollywood music. He has performed on reputed platforms like MTV Coke Studio and has been awarded the title of the ‘Best Singer of the State’ by Gujarat Government in 2015.

Kirtidan has moved to Bhavnagar and is a music teacher at the Bhavnagar University.

Devang Patel

The Funny Man of the Music, Devang Patel, has filled our navratris with humour and enjoyment. His sense of humour in music is refreshing and quite evident from tracks like “Meri Marzi” and parodies like “Patel scope I” and “Patel scope II”. Born and brought up in Ahmedabad, Devang is an eclectic artist. Not only has he earned popularity as a garba and dandiya singer, he has also dabbled with acting, rapping, dance, songwriting, film production and direction.

You can have a wonderful night dancing to his music at Red Raas Live this year from Sep 29^th to Oct 7^th at Vrundavan Party Plot. On Oct 4th, you can also enjoy his music at Times Navratri from 7:30 to 9 p.m. and at Devang Patel’s Joyful Garba for the remainder of the night.

Falguni Pathak

This legendary singer needs no introduction. Millennials have grown up listening to her music and dancing to her songs for countless hours. Falguni Pathak, also known as Queen of Dandiya, has been a pioneer in fields of traditional folk music, pop-folk music, pop music and music composition. Her popular tracks like “Chudi jo Khanki Haathon Mein” and “Maine Payal hai Chhan kai” are not only integral pillars of her fame, they also shaped pop music in early 2000s.

Unfortunately, Falguni will be in Mumbai at Late Shri Pramod Mahajan Sports Complex this time. But, we are sure that her songs will be playing all around the city.
