'The Architecture of Hasmukh Patel' : now in a book form

One of Ahmedabad’s topnotch Architect, whose contribution in making the city this picturesque has now come up in a book form. The legendary Hasmukh C Patel’s architecture has been carefully and creatively captured by his son, Bimal Patel and Catherine Desai, in a form of book called ‘The Architecure of Hasmukh C. Patel : Selected projects 1963-2003’. This journal, published by Mapin Publishing is a holy grail to aspiring architects, who wish to pursue their career in urban planning. 83-year-old Hasmukh Bhai has so far gifted the city with some of the most gilded monuments like The Patang Restaurant, St. Xavier’s School, Chinubhai Tower, Diwan Ballubhai School, Ahmedabad Electric Company,  Sabarmati Riverfront Development and numerous other infrastructures. He is also the vision behind the pride of India, Eden Gardens at Kolkata.

To make the extravagance more memorable, Hasmukh Bhai’s work has been kept at the display for design enthusiasts at Paritosh Gallery, Paritosh Building, Nr. Darpana, Usmanpura, Ahmedabad. The exhibition will initiate from September 14, 2016 and will culminate on October, 2016.
