Comic Con India is organizing Ahmedabad’s first-ever Comic Con, a celebration of fantasy and pop-culture. Read on to know all about it!
Every comic, anime, superhero, gaming or pop-culture geek has dreamt of going to the comic con, dressed up as their favourite character, bonding over their favourite fantasy universe. Moreover, it’s one place in the entire universe where you won’t be judged for being a comic geek. On the contrary, you will be hailed here as you meet your fellow geeks.
If you’re one of them, we bring you some amazing news. Ahmedabad will be hosting its very first Comic Con in 2020!
The first-ever Comic Con of Ahmedabad is scheduled to be held on February 1st and 2nd, 2020 at Gujarat University Convention and Exhibition Centre (GUSEC). It will be a weekend of unparalleled excitement, fun and finding common bonds over several fictional & fantasy universes. Run like Naruto, have lightsaber fights or just share your unfathomable knowledge of what each emblem on the orcs from Lord of the Rings symbolises.
With brand new experiences and the best of comics, books, films & TV merchandise and gaming at Ahmedabad Comic Con, the organisers are all set to gift you the best weekend of the year.
Passes for the Ahmedabad Comic Con start at Rs. 599, covering your entry for one of the two days, but if you want to attend the event on both the days, you must buy the ‘SuperFan – Two Day Pass’ which is available for Rs. 1999.
What is a SuperFan pass you ask? The SuperFan pass is the one to go for if you’re crazy about Comic Con. It not only allows you entry on both the days with it, but you also have access to many other benefits like some exclusive goodies including t-shirts, bags, posters, badges and a superfan collectable box.
However, there are only limited SuperFan passes so if you’re a comic geek, don’t think twice, and buy your tickets at: http://bit.ly/2rp46cu
You can also be a part of the event by becoming a volunteer for it. The ‘Legion of Volunteers’, an army of 11,000 dedicated volunteers who have worked to make Comic Con India the country’s greatest pop-culture experience, are taking in fresh volunteers. If you think you have what it takes to be a part of this army, fill in this Google doc: http://bit.ly/32ufksQ
We know that it is going to be hard for you to wait until February, but until then, choose your cosplay, book the tickets and:
