Verses : Poetry Recital Session

The poetry event at Mississippi Cafe this Sunday was a wonderful amalgamation of emotions, experiences, incidents, and radical thoughts in the form of poetry. Five poets, who emerged from varied regions of India, blew the roof off with their poems.

Poet Rochelle D’silva spoke of her travel experiences evoking such nostalgia, while Preeti Vangani’s poems gave chills to the audience with their intensity. Chinmaya Nadane, who hails from Pondicherry, gave feminism and relationships a new meaning through her verses and Priyal Thakkar, an Ahmedabadi poet, made us tackle real life problems with such grace. Himanshu Nainani, who performed his collection of Hindi poems, reflected on the mundane with a twist of humour.

Team Creative Yatra gives you glimpses from the event ‘Verses : Poetry Recital Session’ through this Picture Story.
