You will not believe which area of Ahmedabad this is!

Though Ahmedabad is quite infamous for its summers, the monsoon beautifies the cityscape of it. The areas that we have captured in our lenses this time are Law Garden and Riverfront. It is June already, and the monsoon drops will quench the thirst of the balmy land any time now. The city is showing the signs of gushing wind and cloudy sky, expectant of the the first rain shower of the season!

Law Garden, Ahmedabad

Except for the hustle and bustle of shopaholics who flocks at Law Garden to buy handicraft items and apparels of Kutchi and Saurashtra textile designs, the Law Garden is famous for its tranquillity which is fresh of the area where traffic is on the peak at almost all hours of the day. One of the city’s biggest parks, Law Garden has got something to give to everyone. Whether you are here to nibble the flavour of Amdavadi street food or have arrived to grab fresh designs of Chaniya Cholis. Whether you are busy brisk walking to shed a few pounds or willing to spend a romantic time around nature, you can’t miss the serenity of tree shades around the park.

Sabarmati River Front, Ahmedabad

Proposed in the 1960s the construction work for Waterfront Ahmedabad began in 2005, and was slowly but surely opened for public in 2012. The 11.25 km stretched riverfront is planned by architect Bimal Patel and daily thousands of people flock here for recreational activities like boating, zip line, walk in flowery gardens and eat/shop at the shores of Sabarmati. The vast water body of Ahmedabad is a must visit in evenings to experience the cool breeze in this sweltering summer.
