We don’t control here, neither we direct it; we just make our imaginations flow like a river and things happen. These scenarios are our dreams, coming when we are asleep, but unfortunately can’t remember them completely. When we wake up, we just remember fragments and patterns of dreams, like spots. Mr. Jeram Patel, who is one of the pioneer artists of the Indian contemporary modern art era, has contributed enormously with his ‘dreams on paintings’. His work mostly consisted the colours black & white. A narrow colour pallet  but a broader vision, is what Jeram sir’s aesthetics reflect.

‘Savishkara- Homage to Mr. Jeram Patel’ is an art exhibition, which purely reflects the Jeram Patel way of painting the canvas. Student of Jeram Bhai and his student’s students have contributed their piece of inspiration under the dome of Herwitz Art Gallery at Amdavad Ni Gufa. The exhibition will be open for spectators on May 17 and will prolong till May 22, 2016 from 04:00 PM to 08:00 PM. Dynamic artists of varied age groups from Ahmedabad, Rajkot and Vadodara have contributed their art forms as a part of this exhibition.

Like a cool breeze in this scorching heat, glancing on these pictures will be a refreshing and memorable experience. The genres of all paintings are totally variable and every single painting has a different aura to reflect. The speciality of these paintings is actually not the subjects but its background. Every patch every line has a deeper meaning that needs time and patience from a spectator to understand.
