Pateti the last day of the closing year and the call to start the Navroze (New Year) is a very important day for every Zoroastrian (Parsi). Going to the fire temple, wishing each other ‘Pateti Mubarak’ and eating Pulao Dal, Sali Boti and Patra ni-Macchi is a part of the celebration on this day. The greatest essence of this festival is that a person may ask for forgiveness while confessing for whatever sins he/she has committed within a year.
Ever since the Parsis have arrived in India from Iran they have blended like the sugar in warm milk within our culture. Team Creative Yatra wishes everyone a Happy and a prosperous Pateti.
